YORK RACEWAY 28th august

he done the 1/4 mile 10.2 backed off at the finish and the car just turn to the left and flipped about 5 times in the field then was on fire the fire people put it out the air ambulance came then after about an hour and 10 mins they said that the track was going to close for the rest of the day and all the police turned up but one of the lads that went to the car went it crashed walked back up coverd in blood not good he was only young 27

Thats so sad

finn did they say u could get in for free tomorow or u could go for free in sep or oct with that card thing they gave u

i no proper sad his mum or girlf walked up d put his baseball cap on start light crying her eyes out

not somthing you want your family seeing tbh im sure everyoes thought who were there go out to them

that one looked a good event was going to go down but its a bit far for me

It was some sort of American drag car not sure on make though.

The crash looked very bad and the car just burst into flames straight away, it was horrible just watching the car burning knowing he was in there

thats horrible its funny you always see and hear about amercan cars bursting into flames alot.. doesnt seem like there very well built imo

It has nothing to do with how they are built those things are running -12 supply lines with pumps that will flow 400 GPH, break a fuel line in a crash and there is a serious amount of fuel getting spilt.

ohh rite but it just seems to always be american cars that you see doing it but you know more than me just my thoughts thats all still a dam shame tho at 27.. far too young to die

just got back, was told he was a well known local lad, attends all the time, been racing since he was 19 and that was his quickest time ever, the car flipped just after he crossed 1/4 mile line so probs doing 130+mph
