Alright guys,i cant for the life of me get my head round offset....if i get it wrong will it damage my car?? anyway iv got a classic w reg uk turbo standard wheel,but iv got in my garage a set of mak matrix mirrors.id love to put them on but cant figure out if it will fit ok,,,,cant try them on the car as i dont have the skinny wheel nuts to even hold them on...anyway the size is 18in tires are 9in wide and i belive after ages of searching the web that there a et35.cant find an answer to be honest when iv been searching so any help would be great

No chance they'll fit a classic without huge spacers and major wide arches lol. Standard offset for a classic is about 50. Ive had a set of 18's 7.5"wide with offset 45 and they rubbed on the arches. 8" wide is a max really but deffo have to get the arches rolled. Offset works by the higher the number, the further they sit into the car, lower, the further they sit out from the car. Offset of 35 sounds like a VAG fitment. Tried one on out of curiosity once and it sat about an inch proud of the wing on an 8" wheel Laughing

il be selling them then haha yeah there off my old celica,really nice wheels they would of looked lovely...cheers

Wheel offset should be on the inside of the wheel btw mate, usually the back of one of the spokes.
