| I've spent the day carbon wrapping various parts on my car with some success. I've decided to do the top of the storage box on the dashboard but the stuff won't stick. I've tried a few different types of super glue, evo-stick, no more nails but this carbon wrap still won't stick to the bugger and I'm proper pissed now, grr! Can anyone recommend me some decent glue to do the job please?

| isnt araldite quite thick and gloopy? I remember using it at school when i was a kid ,you have to mix it with a hardener and its kind of thick like treacle. | |

| Buy some mitre bond from B&Q mate, you get a little bottle of glue and tin of activator, I use it at work all the time on mitred joints on timber, it's about £7.
Just glue one surface and spray the activator on the other but be careful it goes off within seconds once the two surfaces are in contact. | |

| Is this mitre bond thin? I'm after something that is quite strong but doesnt go really thick. I've tried a few things now and my hands are full of crap lol the lid off the storage box looks like shite now aswell, so I'll have to cover now. | |

| Lee is it proper cf or just the vinal stuff?. if its proper cf, ruffen the part with p80 , then use some resin to bond the two surfaces bud , aspply it with a brush wait till it goes tacky them clag the two together use a heat gun to speed up the process. | |

| If you want i'll wrap it for ya for £35 if it helps you out. If not give it a good sand down & try putting another vinyl cover on. | |

| Sanded down, used a bit of Loctite and then stuck down. Used hair dryer to bend the edges. Looks ok but not perfect. Could have done with going to a professional but, I guess you don't learn unless you have a go yourself sometimes. Cheers for all advice! | |
