I'm just emailing Andy Forrest ATM about organising mapping at his base on 15th Sept. I was planning on driving up myself but this may be a bit cheaper.

Do you have a price?
I was quoted £280 if I went to him as it will be my first map but I'll be picking up an ECUtek licenced ECU first.

Date is of great importance to me as I work offshore (I'm in Holland now) and I don't have a schedule, just as and when I'm needed and I can't take time off so it's all down to luck if i'm home. I DEFINATELY want a map doing though and have the money for it and even if I'm away working my car will be sat at home so maybe i could even get a friend to drive it there for me, I just need to have a think about who wont be at work during the day time and who i can trust and no-one comes to mind.

I should be home on about the 13th September and I could be home anything from 2 or 3 days to a month.

put me down fella, need a definate date and time asap tho

gipa if i can get and if ok i need andy just to check my map after last time he was down so i will be there but not on list so if spare time to get done would be great

how much will it be to tweak a map ?? its ecutek'd with a andy forrest map on just need a tweak to my mods

Where's your work and what time do i need to be down?

what you think the chances are that he'll be so kind - if i bring mine down at the start/end of the day to have a '2second' look over that second map without going anywhere to see if he thinks it's safe to run?...I'm gona need it mapped off him anyway soon because of the exhaust

RCM are giving me the run around now for this invoice

With it being a simtek Aaron u will need to get the number off the board so he can get the unlocked software sent to him from Rcm ;-) Nd ask while ya on if he can Hav a look think where already pushing it Gettin 4 mapped lol

If you could give me a txt or something so i know when to come down that would be good, i'll need approx an hour notice to get down there. I've never had a remap so i have no idea how long they take.

I've just found out that i need to go offshore again on weds (I've only been home for a few days a month for the past few months). I don't have a flight time yet but chances are that i'm gunna be leaving around mid day if i'm lucky but i don't think i'll know for sure until Monday.
In which case would it be possible for me to go first? Otherwise I'll try and drop the car off early and get one of my friends or family insured so that they can drive it home for me later. I wont be back for another 2 weeks once i've left.

I spoke to Gipa on the phone this afternoon. I don't think I'll be able to make this mapping day which I'm gutted about.
I was just trying to change my spark plugs in preperation and found that not only one but 2 (on opposite sides) seem to have been cross threaded and I can't get them off.
I spoke to a garage and was told it's a head(s) off job so will be pricey. So I'm thinking if i need to go to that sort of effort then i may as well go all out and get an STi Engine or something like that. Anyway I'm going to try and find a Subaru specialist (not a dealer though as the dealer was the last person to do a spark plug change and they've FAILED). I'm going to ask the subaru specialists opinion as I would love it if it was a simple fix and I was being daft but i really don't think so as 4 of us have had a go at it now.
Gipa, I have your number if I'm lucky and can get this sorted tomorrow, but i doubt it.

Ok i wouldn't of thought you will get that done before Wednesday so I'l put your space up for grabs if that's ok

am sure gipa can sort your car plug problem ....

if gipa is busy am sure andy kindon will work during the nite too make sure car is ready for mapping on wednesday....
