Alternator/Power Steering Belt Snapped

belt shredded itself on way to work today, lost all power steering and battey light on. Can get a mate to fix it for me tmorra, only problem is getting it to him, will it be ok to drive?? and will it just conk out when the battery runs flat.

Any advice please gents would be gratefully recieved

should be ok to drive aslong as its not 2 far.

and avoid using any electrical,ie radio,lights etc

this belt could be fitted at the side ov the road, its literally 10 min job.

Thanks for the advice Finn, got there in one piece. Will just ring breakdown if it happens again.
