Subject: baffle plates? Sun 9 Oct - 9:33
ok when do i need a baffle plate fitted? am i right in thinking the wrx does not have one, but the sti does. which is just ok? then for a proper one get a cosworth one? i do corner quite hard.

I wouldn't bother on a road car, unless you take part in quite a few track days. I'd spend the money on somthing more benifical.

no difference between wrx and sti and would def not fit a cosworth baffle plate, doubt you will be able to corner hard enough on road tyres to warrant the need of any type of oil surge prevention, an oil pressure gauge will help to show anyway

Yep the cosworth ones are good however i think the point AK was getting at was unless you are on the track all the time or doing time attack etc they are of no benifit to a road going motor
