lol im off to london next weekend and dont know whether to take mine or fly i reckon i should get 80miles outta 20 quid on a run at 70 mph ???

We made it to essex on a full tank @70mph .. 288 miles
Can borrow the wife's diesel if you want to - 40+mpg

Any sort of long drive i have to do the scoob gets parked up and out comes the missus's dirty diesel.
Which is shame really as we are all enthusiasts on here and love driving our cars then when the chance comes to give them a good long drive we have to look at alternatives.

i got 265miles on a full tank on the low boost setting the other wk sat @70mph.....me 3 lads work gear and bags packed for the wk.......okish seems the low boost is set at 280bhp....high boost would half that miles easy :-<

i got just over 320miles on a full tank in the wagon going at anglesey at between 70-90 all the way and that includes playing with the Anti lag in the tunnels at wales pmsl
