how much to unblock an Iphone and where?????

If its blocked by the network then ya fooked mate can only be used abroad put it on eBay it will sell as it is

No, non of them, I haven't done my latest IPhone 4 though.

If its just jailbreaking I can do it mate but if it's blocked by the network ya can't do nowt with them. The ISo 5 ie updated or iphone 4s is only a tethered jailbreak to so if your phone turns off or reboots you can only get it back on via a computer and rebooting the jailbreak.

all i know is its on vodafone micky i looked into moving networks but t mobile wanting 250 quid off me, ive got the chance of having this Iphone still boxed so thought about the swap, if its going to be more of a fook on than any good chance to just leave it.....

Is a 4s? If so there is no carrier unlock yet mate so will be stick on that network for at least the time being they having trouble hacking the 4s with the new iso5 firmware

That's all i need to know mate going to see if i can do a like for like swap on it for 1 on t mobile....if not never mind will make do with this galaxy s :-(

if it was a 4 on iso 4 firmware ya could have done it matey and even iphone 4 on iso5.0.0 can be done but iso 5.0.1 it cant

Just go into settings then click general then click about, this will then have all the info about what model and firmware you are running

would this work without a sim in mate???

no it won't, you will need a micro sim too, more of a fook on

Have you tried another network sim in the phone ? reason I ask is vodaphone Supplied I-phones legally have to be open to any network and not locked due to some legal procedings with another well known telecoms company.

The handsets are actually locked by itunes and the networks request that apple unlock them from the network via a itunes restore but at the moment apple wont unlock the iPhone 4s for the general public as this will decrease there sales of unlocked handsets which makes sense and I work for o2 and I know we wont unlock the handset unless yopu complete a full term or 12 months depending on your contract status.

If you get it unlocked via a third party they can unlock therem to another network but in the itunes T&C's it can be locked by itunes during a update. damn apple lol

result, gave our lass the Iphone4s she was able to upgrade early so got the Iphone4 which vodafone are now requesting apple for it to be unlocked to any network, so yeh ive only the Iphone 4 but its opened the right way with warrenty intacked, am due my upgrade november 2012 just in time for the Iphone 5 release ....yeh swaynie i didnt want to get it jailbreaked and risk it shutting down on me so just done a deal with our lass, the guys at vodaphone told me the same as you and it would of been a total waste of time for me to be messing on with a phone like that, hey it only cost £20 for voda to request it been opened......happy

better off doing a factory unlock for the sake of £20, to many bricked iphones due to people upgrading software with a jailbraked phone, only to end up with 1015 errors on the 3, so you would only end up waiting for the boot software to come out for the 4s to be able to repair again, not worth the hassle, only takes an accidental software upgrade and for the price of apps it aint worth it
