| the PFR7B are for the 1993-2005 cars, unfortunately the hawkeye uses a more expensive plug.
As standard they have ILFR6B fitted but for the same price you can get the ILFR7H, these are the higher heat range plug.

| I tried the iridium IX in my blue classic and it ran like a pig when cold, went back to PFR7B and all was well.
Never tried them in the hawk.

| The PFR is a shorter plug than the ILFR so the electrode will sit inside the head when fully tight, not ideal for combustion lol | |

| As far as I know they are 2.5 heads! It does take along time to start when warm and cuts out now and again so chances are this is the problem lol wat should the compression b on it? as I myt do a compression test while I've got the plugs out! | |

| You need to be absolutely sure they are 2.5 heads or the ILFR7H plug will make contact with the piston!!!
Compression should be 150psi, + or - 10psi

| Measure the thread depth i guess, how to do it is another question, by looking at the plugs it looks like the ILFR's are a good 20mm longer so you could use a scope, if you have the wrong plugs it there should be 20mm of carboned up thread at the bottom?
Any one else got an idea???
