I know this might sound daft but how the hell are you supposed to operate the alarm system for the New Age cars?
I've never managed to start the car without setting off the alarm. You get the lock/unlock key on your keyfob but
you also get a blue alarm doofer aswell, I didn't have one of these on the classic so I don't understand what your
supposed to do scratch

dont use any butons on the key, only the fob to open and lock it should work the imobiliser as well, think imobiliser kicks in again after 30 sec. so when ignition on just press buton on fob and should start.

Hiya, yes I have a manual with the car but it's more complicated than enough lol
There's even a number pad where I thought the spare change would be!
I will try using just the blue coloured doofer on it's own, see if that works.

The Key bad is for OVERRIDE only and not to be used to start the car unless your batterys go flat in the fob etc.

On all new ages cars i have had the remote is part of the key i assuem yours much be a early bug eye??? if you still have the blue fob.

On mine yuou have 30 seconds to start the car if not you press the button again
