Anyone know if a Hawkeye STI centre console and steering wheel will fit directly into my Blobeye STI??

yep will do as i have a my05 and they basically put hawk console/ door cards etc in some of the later models of this year probably ran out of blob bits fpmsl
you will need all the bits mate and will be a direct fit

Cheers mate, what do you mean by all the bits? there's one for sale that includes centre console, arm rest, heater switches. Not sure if the handbrake and gear stick will come with it though, will mine fit straight in?

Not too sure mate you might need the gear surround you wont need the gear stick or handbrake lever itself mate

The late Blobeye (v9) and hawkeye (v10) have the electric mirror controller on the door but the early Blobeye(v8) has them on the centre console, if you do change to the v9/10 centre console you will have to make a location in the centre console for the mirror controller.

Cheers jonny, hopefully the space for the DCCD contoller on the V10 centre console will be a similar size to the gap for the mirror controller on my V8 centre console, I don't have DCCD so could just swap them over, if not ill have to modify the gap slightly to make it fit.
Rez did you replace the console yourself or get someone else to do it? If you did it yourself was it difficult?
