| cant make my mind up do i sell my scooby v reg 99 uk turbo wheels are now black with green strips up the spokes, angel head lights still got loads of t&t 3"exhaust from turbo back big p1 spoiler. thinking of getting something more FAMILY car for now but i want something i could deal with to get back in a scooby ( want a sti in the long run ) or do i just keep the scooby use the wife new car i got her ( 52 plate astra 1.8 sxi ) n pully the scooby off the road n start putting the money into it to get the bhp i want | |

| tough decision, if its an STI you want there is no better time than now to buy one and the market is at a low in jan/feb, if you are happy this the car and just want more bhp then keep it and get the power you want out of that. | |

| i would get better fuel pump. may be better turbo. what is your.top mount like ? get all done before mapping .saves doing again ... still a bit new to this though. | |

| I've seen TD05 on here for as little as £100 and on scoobynet for £350-400 fuel pumps about £50. Maps vary but could start from £260-300, that's if your year of car can have the ecu mapped of course. And it's best to stick to a reputable mapper. Guys on here have experiences to speak from. That is not the area to try and cut corners to save a few pennies. There would be tears and tantrums for certain.

| its a 99 so can be ecutek'd, turbo will need to be front entry as theres a top entry td05 also, any hitachi(ihi) turbo will fit, single scroll ones of course,ask finn, i think he has a vf23? somewhere in the batcave, so vf22,23,23,28,29,30,34,35, vf35's are readily available cheap all ower haha | |

| was going suggest vf28 or 35 had vf35 on me bug wrx great turbo plenty grunt at top ov the rev range i had finns ported headers on mine so made spool up a lot better | |
