Anyone ever fitted one to there car and know if its worth doing and what are they like to drive on the road with??

The problem me and lee have with the classic is cause we've stripped so much weight out of it the steering has become far to light so you don't get much feel for the road and the car does'nt feel planted to the road!! is there anyway of making the steering feel heavier rather than going for a quick rack as they are rather expensive??
