| Hi guys, Gav has a samco inlet pipe for me, to go from behind the maf to the turbo but its from a 98, will this fit an my00?
I know its the phase 1.5 engine in the 98, and earlier cars had a completely different airbox layout but what about 98 -> 00?

remove inlet manifold and do job properly, it can be butchered on without removing inlet but possible to damage fuel lines etc in proccess

| Well after a right fook on, i now know to heed andy's warnings!
Anyway the pipes on and the car now idles properly and doesnt cut out when the revs drop.
The pipe that came off was in a right mess, the cuff the goes over the turbo was torn about 80% of the way around! Ill try to get a photo up!

| So, would anyone like to hazard a guess as to how long the engine would have lasted had this not been changed? Im suprised it hasnt blown yet! | |

| Yep! Mind you it did fall to bits once the jubilee clip came off, that was holding it together somewhat!
