| Just collects the oil & vapours you get from the various breathers on the engine rather than have the engine digest them. |

| So its genuinely helpful or just genuinely pretty ? And I am interested in this answer as most things I buy I get told are nice but an unnecessary waste of money, so I need to make sure this is one my shopping list if it is indeed a waste of money....obviously. I'm nothing if not consistant. | |

| oil catch tanks are best suited to engines running high boost with aftermarket forged pistons, ( much larger piston clearances) a healthy standard engine wouldnt really require one but wud still benifit something, a catch tank prevents oil vapours entering intake(depending how its plumbed in), oil vapours in thoery lower the octane of the fuel | |

| So I don't really need one and any benefit is marginal at best. Got it.
Now where's my eBay password........ | |
