| I've got the long D1's on the car and last time I counted all 3 wheels were there. Seriously, only problem I had was revolution ripping my last lot to bits with a windy gun torqued up to 3,000,000nm. These ones have been fine so far but they do mark pretty easy. Just an opinion folks nothing more. | |

| Got the black steel ones on mine too, wouldn't trust alloy wheel nuts personally. | |

| You know I'd never argue with you chaps, but I'd have thought that if the alloy ones were that bad, people like scoobyparts wouldn't sell them. They are listed right alongside the steel ones I've just looked. What's so bad about the alloy ones, they must be on loads of cars ? I'll happily take mine off if you think i should and I can find replacements with the same aesthetics. | |

| Companys will sell anything thats legal and people want if they can make money on it Loads of stories about them coming undone or seizing, sometimes ending with the wheel being destroyed to get it off. Alloy/composite wheel nuts are banned by the MSA for competition use. Personally don't see the point of them (looks versus the risks they pose) to save approx 125 grams per wheel - add together the weight of wheel, tyre and brake disk and it's gonna take a pretty special and gifted driver and car set up to notice any difference, IF there is any, on a road car. Other than that they are the dogs and I'm off out to get some | |
