| I have a sport special as pictured, what cost and what will i need for a turbo transplant? Be a while before i get the cash but a rough figure of how much and what is needed will be helpful. | |

| you'd spend more doing it than it would cost for a Turbo. full harness, ecu, subframe, full drivetrain, engine itself, full coolant system, full exhaust system, bonnet or fmic, all extra sensors required, brake upgrade etc etc etc. im 26yo, 7yrncb and was paying 500 p/a on my sport special fully comp and all mods declared through adrian flux. now through direct line on a hawkeye sti and paying £800 p/a fully comp. |

| Nah ya can have it as a part time occupation these days working from home, but they do advise you to keep receipts etc etc incase your subject to a random check, I do plant machinery, fork trucks, hgv and vans so i got mine to cover me on everything and anything. Better to be safe than sorry in my eyes, but it does have its advantages with letting me have all my personal vehicles on it | |

| I had a Sport many moons ago, insurance grp 13, sold it after spending way to much getting it looking and sounding like a turbo...
Bought a UK Turbo 2000 - insurance grp 17
4 more and £150ish extra a year
In hindsight I wouldn't have entertained a Sport and went straight in for the Turbo
