also swapped the sump over for a 2.0L sump, fitted a fresh set of plugs and did the throttlebody coolant delete. fairly productive day

TGV = tumble generator valves
Theyre like a butterfly valve over the inlet to each cylinder and can be quite restrictive to flow, especially if you go for more power. Main reason for me getting rid of them was one less thing to go wrong in the future . Air pump deletes were done because i hate a cluttered looking engine bay and it only runs for a minute on cold starts anyway..

yes mate. oil pickup breaks on them. only know of ones that have been previously removed and refit but i didnt wanna take the chance.
