I'd keep an eye on the oil mate.....mine was like that and I've been upping the power lately and the oil useage is way over the top now 5ltrs to 2000miles......car is pulling fine but obviously there is a problem.......pistons in my case which am getting corrected at a later date......I use a good engine builder on here lad called Andy kindon, it might be worth getting it checked over or getting a professional opinion........give him a shout......just like to say he didn't build this block that's in my car at the moment that was done by scoobyclinic a good 5 years ago........but AK has a good record for turning out the best engines built on here IMO

Agree with Locky keep a close eye on your oil level. It must be burning something or there would be no blue smoke....

Mine used to do it now and again when it had the standard TD04 and 5w40 oil when I first got it. Never used any noticeable amounts oil but dosn't take much to make a bit of smoke. Stopped doing it when I put 10w60 oil in after remapping and deffo doesn't do it with the VF43 fitted. I put it down to the TD04 having a bit of oil seep with the thinner oil.
Can also get oil burning smell/smoke if the driver side rocker cover is leaking a bit, which is quite common.

Yeh like robbo said could quite easily be the turbo mate which would be the first check.......

If it were me i'd start with a compression test, which will rule out a few root causes.
