| Ok sp in the last 3 weeks ive had the suspension changed the head gaskets done and a new exhaust and now all of a sudden im gettin a puff of blue smoke when i start the the but it seems to be after ive driven it on boost and only last a couple of seconds then its gone until next start up (but not every 1) so any ideas because im now starting to wish i had never sold the evo for another scoob | |

| check your oil level, they are known for doing this if the oil is over filled even by a little bit. | |

| mine did it when over filled with millers i took it to dr ks felt like a right plank | |

| main reason for oil (blue) on start up is one of these , over filled oil , valve stem oil seal ( possibly cooked valve stem oil seals on head hasket failure which should have been change any way with head job , weaping turbo , or piston ring sticking , but if piston ring you should see it on boost constnt , hope this helps if ring sticking best way to check is take oil filler cap off and check for heavy chuffing | |

| Ok went out this morning and checked the oil level and its in between the 2 small holes in the dipstick but above the F mark and this time no smoke on startup so going to give it a bit of a blast later because last time it happened was after playing with the noisey pedal | |

| that top hole is not a level mark mind the f is , try and keep oil level just below the f when cold | |

| Ok last 2 days smoked once on startup but tonight pulled onto duel carriageway and gave it some beans and got a puff of blue smoke full throttle in 1st but 2nd 3rd etc there was nothing and no smoke since??? | |
