Spark plug changed and a quick question.

I changed my spark plugs yesterday, and replaced them with some ngk pfr6b (a think thts rite) made sure they were gapped to 0.7. I took air filter off on drivers side, washer bottle and batt of pass side. I put everything back and started car, took it for a drive and when clutching down at junctions the car stalls or it will tick over at 50-100 rpm. I chexked everything to make sure all was rite but it was still the same. Today i put my old plugs back in and its still the same. Am i rite that the ecu needs time to store all the changes to the car with me taking the batt off? I get no ECL on either. Help would be great.

sounds like you have a air leak after the MAF

or a faulty dumpvalve..

Cheers finn ill have a check today. Dump valve works fine aswel. When i hold revs on 1200 it has a miss fire aswel but not all the time. Normal driving i cant tell if it is miss firing

You haven by chance, missed the top of the plug my mistake, & pushed the HT Lead or coil in between the plug & the head, easy done.

It turned out it wasn't the plugs, iv had issues with idling for a while now and a lad at work who has a scooby sorted the theottle position sensor out. Ticks over spot on and more responsive now.
