| Here we are, dropped the car off at AK Automotive on Monday along with a few suspension pieces to fit, the car has come back amazing, just been for a 100 mile run and I can't believe the transformation, rather than feeling like a ship going round corners, it's like it's on Rails. I can't wait to get some decent tyres put on. CDF Racing Droplinks and ALK [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]H&R ARB Set, 22mm Front, 25mm Rear. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Bilstein Shocks and Prodrive Springs from RB320. Rears refurbished after bursting a seal and they've also been sanded down and painted in Silver hammered Hammerite. | I didn't go out to buy the 25mm rear to begin with, I was going to go for the 22 front/24 rear whiteline bars, as advised by many. Reasons? The car was nose heavy, very nose heavy (I felt) so I wanted a thicker bar on the back to try and get the car to be more tail happy (that was my view on how it would work anyway ). After getting a few prices for whiteline stuff, I was going to go ahead with them, but I've read lots and seen many images of whiteline stuff badly corroding after not many miles, Mario confirmed this when he told me about his drop links being almost dead after a year or so, so decided to look elsewhere. I then priced up CDF ARB's, good price, seemingly good quality, but they're new to the market and not tried/tested. Perrin were too expensive, I then found H&R for £308 inc vat at Venom Motorsport, they only make 22 front/25 rear, so then thought, why not, all it can do is make it a little more rear biased (which I prefer) and they were a good price, not much more than whiteline and great quality and tried and tested....so I bought them and I'm glad I did, the car feels great to drive. Rather than nose diving into bends it corners flat and all wheel drifts, the balance feels great. So in a nutshell, because | |

| Bit more work done for the car this weekend. Something I'll hopefully be able to offer once I get a bit more space, what you can see is what I've been working in, which is smaller than the back of a SWB Transit. They look brilliant in the sunshine. Now just need to add the clear coat tomorrow night and tyres and I'll have them fitted Next weekend. Paint Strip and primer coated White(ish) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Then Metallic Black Base coat with a Liquid Green Top Coat. Turn Green to Purple/Blue [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

Also Need Mario's help to detango the motor. Love the colour of the wheels....just not sure (for me) they go with the car, but definitely unique that's for sure. No probs sorting the headlights out mate, I am off for a week when I get back from Cyprus on 2nd September so give me a shout that week and we'll get cookin' |
