Interesting collection mate. That Terzo looked well nice....and you got rid of that for the Mini ?!?

Each to their own. So how long will the Blob last......

The Terzo was very nice and I believe it is still local in Newcastle somewhere although the lad is in the army so it might not be seen much. It was outstanding cosmetically but was still very much a standard Turbo 2000 power wise with 150K on the clock and I wasn't going to start upping the power without either dropping a new lump in or rebuilding the old one.

The Mini was a nice break, cheap to run and insure with all the toys and over 200bhp so once moving was quicker than the Terzo. Ultimately tho I missed having an Impreza, not just for the car but the community which comes with it. A Mini is just a Mini (and a fair bit girlie), but an Impreza generally is a good talking point for most petrol heads.

The Blob only has 50k on and now I've done the belts, fluids etc I'm looking towards filter, decat and remap. I'm already happy with the performance but 260bhp+ will be nice. I also find the newage cars a much better daily driver, even with the big can on the back its still fairly quiet in the cabin and the road noise is much lower than the Mini.

Having said all that I have been looking at a few Blob STI's

The mrs had a mini for a while and it's a good fun car to drive, but like you say the Scoob is in a different league. Getting your Blob to a decent power level and keeping it sensible as a daily drive will a great adventure, I know mine was......and I still miss the bugger if truth be told. Enjoy.
