Car decided today after a lauch that it didn't want to work again

Car still has a good bite point and moves backwards and forwards but jumps and makes a awful rattle noise and sometimes gets stuck in gear .

Had to get it recovered as it wasn't drive able Sad


Any ideas what I've done ? I think it would most definatly be box ?

Can you get all gears with engine off ? Have you drained oils to check for the 'glitter' effect ?

Yeah can get all gears but reverse stuck in and had to push really hard to get it out

Will try drain tomorrow

you could of distroyed your cluch, the only way to fined out is to take the box off and check it out Sad

if the car isn't driveable a simple oil change aint going to fix it, sounds like you have broken the gearbox
