Like Trev said you need to get it done properly - i.e with the heads skimmed and genuine Subaru or Cosworth head gaskets. Give Andy Kindon a call mate and ask him for a price - you might get a nice surprise - but most reputable specialists will charge you around that price. Get it done cheaper and not properly and you will be paying to get it done again before very long. Andy Kindon is based in Chester Le Street, his details are in the "Your Business Section" A & S Motors 10 STELLA GILL IND EST. CHESTER LE STREET DURHAM DH2 2RG Tel. 0191 388 9629 Mob. 07734 453 469 |

| I think you will find that there are a few guys that can do the work to an acceptable standard for you on here - everybody will have their preferred person to do that work so it is entirely up to you - call all 3 and ask them for a price to do the work and go with who you think is best - not who everybody else would give their money to - because it's your money at the end of the day and your car. Good luck |

| £1k for doing headgaskets? I'm changing professions . I'd say youre looking at half that value with gaskets included provided no major head work is required. | |
