| Just fitted a k&n typhoon induction kit to my blob sti. Was wondering what people do regarding the snorkel/standard intake? Have seen them online with this removed, is this any better? Thanks | |

| Left mine on mate, not sure how much cold air actually gets through there but any is better than none IMO | |

| Same here mine is just still in. Some people trim the snorkel bit at the end to divert air to the new intake. Probably doesnt make much difference but wont cause any harm. | |

| it won't make any difference as the air is sucked in through the snorkel, not forced in. If you want cold air on your induction kit, rout a flexi tube to the intake from the drivers side fog light area. | |

| I'm sure Bob Rawle done a test on the snorkel and they turned out pointles. I've left mine off as most the air goes in the scoop and in the arches right next to the air filter | |

| Thanks for the advice, was just gunna leave it on to channel the air toward the filter, but if bob reckons there's no difference I think I'll take it off as I think I'll prefer the look without. Â Atwrx, do you mean cut a whole in the fog cover?? | |

| I'm not a big fan of cutting holes in the front end, so I'm gonna just remove the snorkel and leave it like that I think. Or do you mean behind the grille somewhere baldy?intercooler and injectors are next on the mods lis macca, when funds allow | |
