Think I paid just under £1200 for a simtek supplied and mapped with antilag and launch control bud, around £900 ish for simtek with out anti lag and launch bud.

The simtek is a cracking ecu and is ideal for a tuned car, don't know weather I would pay £1200 for anti lag though as in my opinion its just a gimmick on a road car and doesn't give you any advantage, extended use can also destroy your turbo.

That said it does sound awesome though Laughing

My ecu is spot on mate and mapped well by Bob Rawle, as said the antilag will eat the turbo if used all the time, but does sound awsome, and I use the launch control when putting it down the strip.

Race dynamix and Andy Forester also supply and map simteks bud.

I've already got a simtek on my wrx which was mapped in June by bob rawle.
Any ideas how much it'd be to get launch control added?
I think I'll avoid anti lag as I've already replaced one turbo!

The launch control is part of the antilag on mine one switch activates both bud, it was an extra 200 quid at the time of the map for the anti lag/ launch contol.

anti lag and launch control cant be added at a later date on simteks, the lauch control can be handy but def not essential, but lyk jonny says on a road car there more like gimmicks

If you have a 5 speed box I wouldn't bother, I found out the expensive way that mine wasn't to impressed with the launch control. Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the response, think I'll just give it a miss, not much point paying for a full remap just to get it on and def don't wanna be replacing my gearbox AGAIN!!
