Subject: Coil pack engine in v1 wrx Sun 30 Oct - 15:42
Is it possible to fit an engine with the coil pack on the inlet manifold into a car where the engine had single coils? If so what needs changing thanks

Wot exactly have you got to go in ? V3-4 with coil pack in centre or later classics have the coilpack offset on passenger side of inlet ?

Hi I haven't got it yet but from the pictures it looks like it's in the centre of the manifold thanks

Sounds like version 3-4 youl have to change manifold over and the wiring harness , wot conditions the engine ya looking at ?

My bottom end has gone but the other engine is in good condition why would I need to change wiring harness if I change the manifold
