personally i would have went TMIC on a vf43..
but a suppose your bumper is already cut and all that so dont blame you for sticking with the FMIC . | |

bob's doin it mate he's up on wednesday to put a base map on it so lee can get it ran in! and when its mapped again should b around the 400bhp mark depending wat the turbo will do! | |

| thanks lads engine going good nealy 1000 miles on it now from the second oil change its done 700 miles and hardly used a drop of oil and ive got a weep from the dipstick tube where it conects to the sump really good on fuel aswell off boosts like i took it to work this week and come the long way i went through saltburn,whitby,scarborough, bridlington, beverlly, onto the humber bridge then into grimsby to work and it used just over quarter of a tank from being brimmed happy to say the least as i was expecting a full tank lol | |

| fort it was about time this was updated! car got mapped back in july, few problems when mapping but got there in the end, but while mapping found out that the turbo is not big enough due to the head work that got done when the engine was rebuilt! still running good power but not at the full potential of the new engine! bigger turbo needed well! all was going well for the first time since lee got the car but then a few weeks ago the gearbox went lee managed to find a cheap 5 speed for the time being while he saves for the all important 6 speed for when the bigger turbo is fitted and the power increased! so out came the old box and the new box is ready to go in tomorrow! i stripped the old box to try see what had gone wrong and i found some of the gears were missing teeth and there was a small metal pin in the bottom of the box, not sure where that metal pin has come from or if its that that has done the damage | |
