thanks kgt, bob Rawl is doing the mapping, I'll be happy if it makes 380 with the vf43 but all depends if the turbo is up to the job

thanks lads

engine going good nealy 1000 miles on it now Smile from the second oil change its done 700 miles and hardly used a drop of oil and ive got a weep from the dipstick tube where it conects to the sump

really good on fuel aswell off boosts like i took it to work this week and come the long way i went through saltburn, whitby, scarborough, bridlington, beverlly, onto the humber bridge then into grimsby to work and it used just over quarter of a tank from being brimmed Smile happy to say the least as i was expecting a full tank lol

fort it was about time this was updated! Very Happy

car got mapped back in july, few problems when mapping but got there in the end, but while mapping found out that the turbo is not big enough due to the head work that got done when the engine was rebuilt! still running good power but not at the full potential of the new engine! bigger turbo needed Very Happy

well! all was going well for the first time since lee got the car but then a few weeks ago the gearbox went Sad

lee managed to find a cheap 5 speed for the time being while he saves for the all important 6 speed for when the bigger turbo is fitted and the power increased!

so out came the old box and the new box is ready to go in tomorrow!
i stripped the old box to try see what had gone wrong and i found some of the gears were missing teeth and there was a small metal pin in the bottom of the box, not sure where that metal pin has come from or if its that that has done the damage scratch
