| Cracking read mate, been through the wars with it but almost there with it,
My 5spd went and iwent 6spd,best thing i ever did but u will find in town u will be up/down the gears much more compared to the 5spd box.
I dont know what route ure going but i only chaged the box, prop, rear diff, starter, clutch, flywheel, slave cyclinder and clutch fork, never changed any shafts.

| Can i be cheeky and ask what was originally done to the car ?
By the sounds of it, it was abit yeehaa but now well on its ways to being a tidy motor. Liking the green claipers and black alloys mind, | |

| Well my bad luck streak happened this week it happens so often now I'm not even fased by it lol The rear diff Locked up, found that the bearings on the pinion drive had let go, it's that rare that this could only happen to me, on a plus side drew managed to source 1 and is now at his ready to fit at the weekend , so just waiting on bob Rawl when he can fit me in for a map somewhere, if it comes to it ill drive down to his and get it done, I really want it done for the lakes run out end of this month with c.s Any way The list of new mods recently done Jdm 6 speed box Spec c inlet manifold rotated with adapter plate to mate with the fly by wire throttle body Reversed I/c pipe work with classic gc8 pipe off turbo Harvey/asp Venturi uppipe 3" wrapped down pipe mated to blitz nur spec system loving the sound now Few pics [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |
