A few random quesyion pls?

After having the scoob a year im going to change all the oils on the car im right in thinkning gearbox and diff i can use 4Litres?

Also my local scooby garage said £60 to change engine oil,gearbox and diff they will supply filter and washer i supply the oil does that sound about right price wise?

WOW £60 to change the fluids sound rather pricey to me..... filters and ring are £3.50 for a Blue Print.

I suggest calling one of the lads on here and get them to do it Smile

i dont have a problem with his work i just thought £60 was tad dear for the work, why do they do that to their regulars the amount of work they done on car the plus i always give beer money ontop of the price agreed. oh well guess i have have to look about for some one else then thanks guys

Speak to Drew on the forum hes very very very good with prices and does a great job.

Finn also does a excertlanto job, as does Andy and Trev Smile

Finn and drew have both been awesome giving advice on here and on the phone, my problem is I have the kids always with me and while the garages are not far there not local to sunny aycliffe lol

I always use my own oil as guy from opie has always looked after me, I'm a huge believer in looking after your customer and they will come back, that's why I a bit miffed at my local for over charging when they have done so much work for me

Drews is very close to chester le street town centre mate just a 5 /10 min walk max so cud take the kids for some food and a look around shops pal .

Good shout and very true. Can vouch for Drew to bud, he has worked on my Scoobs for the last couple of years now and always does a top job. All the other lads mentioned also know their stuff so you'll be in safe hands whoever you use.
