weepy header Empty
PostSubject: weepy header   weepy header EmptyTue 1 Jun - 17:18

just noticed that the top tube that goes to my header tank is weeping. it is where it joins the plastic tank, it is not the hose that runs to the turbo but the outside hose that runs across the top of the air box. will have to wait until it all cools down to investigate. hope it not the plastic header tank that has the fault.

Any one else had this sort of issue ?

if its an early classic its very common , do your best not to use car until u either sorse a replacement or upgrade to sti alloy one ,if u keep running it with a water leak i can promise u u will cause head gasket failure or even worse ,mine did same thing back in the day , pm drew or finn they may have a second hand unit

its a new age, had a look it seems to have just been the clip on the pipe that was too week and allowing some fluid to weep past, i put a fuel line clip on it and seems to have cured it for now
