Subject: clutck grinding and lurching Sun 17 Jun - 11:45
Hi there just wondering if ive done something daft and easy to fix before i pull box off again. I bought an exedy pink clutch and lightened flywheel off drew the other day, fitted it yesterday. Car starts fine, cluth depresses fine and goes into gear fine but when i let the clutch out it makes a grinding noise and car lurches forward or backwards. any ideas?? Just hoping i havnt done the box in when removing it as it was a right pig. Any suggestions welcome

recon av put clutch plate in the wrong way?

Ide imagine its gearbox issues maybe linkage loose of bend of sumit dout the clutch would cause that problem but im no expert sure good advise will cum up

Damaged release bearing, bent one of the lugs on mine before did the exact same thing , chattering/grinding when pedal was on its up stroke.

yeah mate release bearing was damaged . gonnna fit a new one today
