(Hopefully) Some of you will have noticed that I have not been very active on the site or at meets over the last 6 weeks. I thought it was time you had a little update. A MASSIVE issue with the bank has left all three of my companies in the pretty difficult position of only being able to take money in but not pay it out. Effectively a glitch in their system has meant that the holding company had no active bank cards or cheque books. This has been ongoing since the beginning of the tax year in April and is only now in the process of being resolved because I started highlighting the issues I was having by tweeting them on the holding company's Twitter page. As such CarKandy now has no stock whatsoever and hasnt had for quite a while. As such I have focussed on my service led company that requires no true expenditure to operate.
The next issue is that it was brought to my attention on Facebook that the CarKandy logo is in use by a US-based detailing company. When I had my web guy do some research it became obvious that the CarKandy logo was in use in several places. Further research proved undoubtedly that the CarKandy logo was originally stolen from Pontiac by the branding company employed by the company's previous owner. To avoid any legal concerns I am bringing forward the rebranding of CarKandy that was planned for November/December of this year. I will be at the meet on Tuesday purely for the social side of things and CarKandy will be back bigger and better as soon as these issues are resolved.
