| I'm chuffed to fook - it's sad but am I bothered?? Got me works motor back at long last. Had to give it up last year when one of our lads fell asleep driving and wrote two of the trucks off. Had to put up with a selection of knackered Freelanders, a VW Fox girlcar, Shitroen Berlingo garlic munching shed and a handfull of various Land Rover 90/110/130's as and when. Anyway, welcome back to me turbocharged, 6 speed, selectable 4wd, all aluminium lightweight body, stripped out, 2 seat, Land Rover Defender 90 Not everyones ideal works car but perfect for what I need Photo was taken about two days before Honda pulled out of F1 - rumour has it once they'd seen the engineering genius on the 90 they gave up trying.......... Just need to cut the roof off and get a WMIK sorted now...... | |

| Yeah, me too! Loved them when I was a kid and always wanted one. First time I drove one I thought 'this is so bad I love it even more' They've gradually gotten better over the years and this latest version is excellent. Got the Ford Transit 2.4 Turbo Diesel engine - 120BHP / 266 LbFt torque and 6-speed gearbox - pretty much unstoppable off road if driven right. It's even got a nearly normal interior and dash! | |

| How sad is my son .. posting pics of his works Landy .. it must be your birthday soon .. getting that back Africa .. that was the place to have a 110 .. best thing in deep sand, especially with a powerfull winch on the front. | |

| "Not everyones ideal works car but perfect for what I need".........unless its slightly damp outside. Presumably thats why they are mint in Africa | |

| I love my Landy definately earned it's keep when we had all that snow dragging cars out of ditches etc etc Never argues with starting etc, little bits don't work perfectly but does it's job |

| Been pretty reliable up to now - only needed a new gearbox at 3000miles old and rear brakes recall Just sort of accept that not everythings gonna work Agree with the Jap 4x4 statement but boss struggles to get his head round anything but land rover. We've got one mitshi L200 and never had a bit of bother with it. The defenders still the best off road though, if it can be arsed........ | |
