| just standard halfrauds ones mate. was pretty straight forward.  its still in the boot, once ive tried to fit the exhaust ill let you know... depends if i need it or not... if not, its yours | |

| Well I've already done the air filter, fuel pump, got an exhaust to go on, decat to go on, sti intercooler to go on, then a remap. Should be fine.
I knew my budget before hand and split my budget accordingly.
Hopefully I'll have the right mix. | |

| went across and met up with a lad i had randomly bumped into who told me he had some parts for sale. turns out he worked with my dad and maybe because of this, i got what i would consider a very good deal... got them back and set about putting them on... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]first was the gear knob and gear surround. was gunna keep the sti one as i had just bought it, but the new one matched better and is also weighted for a slightly improved gear change... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]then i set about putting both ends of the strut brace on to see how it fitted (left the middle out to remove the intercooler) then for the second time in two days, took the intercooler out...  and got the hoses fitted... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]then put the middle section of the strut brace in and tightened everything up... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]tomorrow is exhaust and coilovers... if all goes to plan... which... it may not. | |

| so, my lambda sensor was seized tight, so took it to a local friendly garage and they got some heat on it and got it off for a few quid. then drove to my mates garage to set about taking the old one off... | sounds good mate, its not too loud, but certainly louder than what i had. seeing as i warm the car up before i drive it and have the turbo timer for cool down, my neighbours will be happy its not too loud! lol. | |
