Subject: York dragway ups and downs Sun 14 Oct - 21:06
So started off well at York dragway today in my classic wrx my best time was 13.2 wich was better than last time where I got 14.5 but last run I got a strange noise thought all way home it's the crank totally gutted got home to billingham and no change in noise to had a route around turns out iv ripped a manifold stud out iv never been sooo over the moon so see a bolt torn out of a head lol so drill and tap kit out tomorro if anyone done this before any hints or tips ??

Inlet or exhaust manifold?

No it's pulled out the thread iv still got the stud and a nice coil of alloy wrapped round it I'm a mechanic so ill retap it today or helicoil it maybe who ever put manifold on cross threaded it but will sort it out today

Well it's all down to that fuckin company you warned me about they put the engine in they must of had there hands on my studs coz they all different lengths
