York dragway today, mixed bag

Well done to Mark Prior in his R32grt, 12.2 & qualified 2nd behind a r35 that did a 11.1 straight out of the box.
I han the car at .9bar by mistake then couldn;t select 1st as me clutch pedal came loose when the retainer bolt fell out, lol Managed a 12.4
didn't think much of the DCCD & the Type R short geared box, IMO no good for drag racing, tried various setting, & either bogged down or spun all 4 wheels in the 1st 3 gears, if i stayed in 4th went over the line @7900 or had to change into 5th 20yds from the end.
All in all a cracking day though.

seen one at elvington do the same time 11.1s and it was the autobox/triptronic, totally standard

agree with you on the typeR box, they just too short for drag racing.

Steven was there today with the banana, he ran a 10.1 on a shakedown run the broke three driveshafts on the next run

yep was well pleased only running 1 bar aswell with a boost solinoid and 1.2 bar maybe an 11 next time, heres a few vids of the day, also did a 3.8 second 0-60 only did it the once as the rest of the time it broke lol wasnt recording times for most of the day

was that the lateral performance car that broke? if so it broke racing me
