Ebay- How long to wait?

Been waiting over 3 weeks now for a set of brakes off ebay,
I ordered calipers, brakes and discs. Should I start complaining
now? I've never had to wait this long before and I've been a member
of ebay since 2002 and I've bought loads of stuff. Even stuff from
China has taken quicker than this!

Who did you buy it from, you got the link?

see what the delivery time on the item is in working days if it's over PM the seller then report it to the resolution center! if the seller contacts you and somthing gets sorted you can just close the case.

It was from that drmotorsport in Cumbria,
I've bought stuff from them before but never
waited this long. I sent them an email after
2 weeks but not heard a reply from them yet.
I did pay using paypal though.

They not closed for holidays by anychance as I have been caught out with this before. Its always in the small print!

is it the same dr motorsport that sells bonnet scoops and thing like that??

if it is ive waited 5 month for sti8 scoop. i didnt send payment coz lad never got back to me

I would log complaint with paypal and ebay, as you only have so much time for that, plus it will get there arse in gear

dont go through paypal they take ages go through ebay,on your my ebay page theres a drop down box at the end of where it shows what item you bought theres a option there

Ive always gone through paypal to do a complaint as ive found if you go through ebay you never used to be able to claim postage back. It may have changed now though.

yeah, I think its the same drmotorsport, they break scoobys and rs turbos.
I'll make a complaint I think If I don't have anything by the end of the week.
i think the complaint is not an actual claim, just an official warning by the
looks of it, then you can claim later on.

I waited months for a bonnet scoop for my old Impreza from them, took numerous emails and phone calls only to be blatantly lied to. The bloke has that many excuses he should be a politician. That said the item was good quality when it eventually arrived

I sent them this email on the 29th-

Hiya,
Just wondered If you'd sent the brakes for my Subaru yet?
I paid for them on the 18th March by PayPal.

And I got this response-

Order was dispatched no problems as far as iam aware.I will track them tommorow morning sorry for delay

Still noe brakes yet though, might have to stick my complaint with PayPal in tomorrow.

if they were dispatched he should have been able to give you the tracking number straight away.

the fact he said he will track it implies (to me anyway) they have forgotten to dispatch and are running about like blue-arsed flies to get them out, then will blame couriers

They told me 3 times the item had been despatched until I asked for a tracking number, when it suddenly appeared to have been lost in the post
Put a claim in mate, was the only way I got mine

just lodge and unreceived item dispute, in the notes put that you asked the seller to provide a tracking number and they were "unable/unwilling"

I am going to put in a dispute, I've waited long enough now!

The thought has crossed my mind that he might not even have
the brakes in stock, he could have just took my money and is
waiting for the next scoob to come in so he can break it.

Got my brakes today!!!!
It has only taken 28 days lol
Quick or what?

Anyway, one is fine but the other seems
a bit stiff, any ideas how I can loosen it
up without breaking the caliper?

I'm normally quite good at breaking things btw
