I don't know how accurate the are at Rolling reading a car, what gear did they do the runs in ? How was it strapped ?

436.5 is decent enough power for a nimble road car like,

Just been talking to Kindon and he reiterated what the bloke at Motoscope was saying, the temp rockets up and starts to affect the figures on a rolling road due to the inadequate fans only providing minimal air, the 436bhp is around the mark he calculated given that my 740cc injectors are running at 76% duty (info from Bob) he thought 430ish so after hearing that from someone like Andy im pretty much happy  Very Happy

That's it Marshffs as far as modding for power goes ive reached my target of 400+bhp  Very Happy

Why would I get my next runs free Baldy?

It was done using 4th gear with it having a six speed and it certainly shifts  bounce

the temp ended up at 26.8 degrees on the 3rd run, up from 25.5 on the 436 run (2nd one) so it shows how quick the heat was building up

they will never recreate natural air flow the strength of being out on the open road but it is what it is fella  Wink

id defo go back if it was free  lol! lol!

That is exactly what you would expect from a car running over 400 on the rollers, first run warms all the engine and gearbox oil up, second run will be the most accurate, 3rd run everything has warmed up too much so the intake temps rocket reducing power.

This doesn't happen on the road due to the amount of air moving through the engine bay.

Good figures anyway mate  Cool

Good power for a classic that is macca. Welcome to club 400+  Smile

I cheated my way in but I have a few plans to improve the power of mine already lol!

Just out of interest how much notice did you need to give motorscope when you arranged your power run, where they quite booked up or did you have plenty of options of when you wanted to go down..

I'm considering taking mine for one before I do anything to it as it's never been rolling roaded and with it being mapped over in Ireland on their crappy petrol I'm thinking the 450 bhp estimation might be a bit wrong.

See, I have no experience of this so I was still a bit unsure of what had been achieved but after listening to you and Andy who have experience running 400+ on rollers its made me feel a lot better , as Andy said....its done 436bhp on the rollers, its in black and white so im BUZZZZZZZZIIINNNGGGGG  Laughing Laughing Laughing
