| Taking my son on a road trip in the Scoob back to the scene of many a crime in Belfast via the ferry. Only problem is there are no Shell garages in Northern Ireland - so no V-Power. Car is mapped for V-Power. Would there be any problem using Tesco 99 while I am there for a few hundred miles?
Cheers

| i use the tesco 99ron and dont have a problem with it v-power is much better but as a shell garage is to far away thats why i use the tesco stuff and iv got to travel from aycliffe to bishop for it but its better than going to darlo for v-power. i personaly dont see a problem with using tescos 99. | |

| For what its worth, the Hatch runs on both and doesnt seem to register any difference between them and the Blob was mapped with 99 but used to run on both and again seemed no issue. However with yours being a bit more highly tuned and perhaps fussy, it may be best to check with your mapper. May be prudent to grab yourslef a few bottles of NF in case you get stuck for quality juice on the island. | |

| I put 95,97,98,99 in the wagon no probs with any of them its all down to how your going to drive it, if your steady away it'll be ok on normal super unleaded or even 95 but if your going to be booting it stick to 99 if you can Lambda sensor and ecu are really clever things to sort a vehicles fueling | |

| I use Tesco Momentum 99 in mine most of the time as there's a Tesco right next to where I live, when I had my car mapped a couple of months ago by Bob Rawle and I asked him about this and he said either Tesco 99 or She'll 99 would be ok as there's not much difference between them, but he said She'll was very slightly better. Not every Tesco sells 99 though so I would make sure the ones in Ireland do before you go, but take some NF octane booster like Keith says to be on the safe side. | |

| I have been running scoobs on tesco for four years now and have never had any problems. The blob was mapped on tesco fuel and I have used shell a few times and noticed no difference whatsoever. It might be different if you get your cat mapped for v power and then drop down 0.8 of a Ron to tesco I would suggest you ask your mapper Mario.. | |
