There are charities in the North East who don't pay managers etc who do work DIRECTLY with those who they are 'there' for. We've gone into this wee arguement in the past and like Jonny says there is a lot which your cash makes little difference with. Choosing wisely helps
I can help with the gaining information on how each charity works, I only support those who don't pay fat cats/fundraising managers etc myself. It's like a swimming group I run on a Thursday (which is a charity) for children and adults with disabilities, we rely only on volunteers all we have to try to buy is flotation aids, pay for lifeguard training and insurances. We don't need a flashy manager just daft people like me to run it lol then volunteer lifeguards and drivers to bring the people to the group. Most of it is students.
Lordharding seemed keen on doing an additional event if someone wanted to work with him
What I'd be more interested in is what sort of interest people would have in events NESF ran, which there could be additional remitt of fundraising but main aims of the day is to have fun!
