Subject: Over rev on my blob eye?? Sat 11 May - 16:03
Any idea why this is happening to mine? When I change gear after 3000 it shoots up the revs when I put the clutch down?? I'm not touching the accelerator at this point :/

is yours drive by wire ? If so could be a sticking throttle position sensor

have you had it mapped?? just our bugeye did this a little after it was mapped normal apperently im sure someone will tell you if im wrong.but it saves the gearbox.so we were told. lian

Yea mines a cable throttle bud. Just spoke to Andy K and that's the first thing he's suggested it could be but he's going to take a look at it if I can get it over there on Monday. Yea just been mapped on Thursday What was up with yours??

I have heard of this also.. God knows how it protects the gearbox like

So your revs don't drop off and have to be dragged back up by the gearbox when you change gear
