Subject: What is ticking??? Sun 21 Jul - 21:29
Firstly i replaced my engine coolant sensor a few weeks back. Flashed up code 21 on CEL light. After replacing this its flashed up again!!! Why???
Secondly, after cold start up i can hear ticking coming from the left side of the engine. It aint the solenoid ticking. Could it be injectors?
Its starting to do my head in now as iv had no luck with this car whatsoever. Any help would be great

When you changed the coolant did you fully bleed it (don't mean to insult your intelligence but its easy to forget)

I cleared the code yesterday and it been coming on/off about 5 times in the space of 10 mile. Im taking the whole inlet manifold off on fri/sat so ill need to drain coolant anyhow, ill take sensor out and clean it up and pit it back in see what happens. Might be up fpr sale soon in a few month anyhow coz got me eye on something else but want it sorting for whoever the next owner will be. Just starting to annoy me now.

Could be as simple as another foobarred sensor mate...that's what happened to me......3rd time lucky for me lol
