| When sat stationary in the car if I give it some revs it has a limiter set at 5000 rpm.. Don't think it's launch control cos it cuts the revs right down ,the car would probably snap in two if I let the clutch out at 5000 rpm and I never asked for or paid for launch control to be added to my map.. Just wondering if this is a standard feature of the newage STi ecu to safe guard the engine or if something is wrong with it. Revving the nuts off the car is not something I would normally do but I thought I would give it a good rev at 5 oclock this morning to piss of the neighbours for blocking me in, tommy tankers | |

| Yea it goes past 5000 revs when I'm driving it no probs, it also hits the limiter when its not in gear so all I can think of is its something Andy Forrest has done to stop it being death revved when sat still. I didn't think it was launch control cos the revs drop down to 1000 then build up to 5 again but I wasn't 100% sure.. | |

| My launch is 5000rpm, if you select first and rev it to that you will sure know if it kicks in, the rattle, pop and shudders are good fun, | |

| Nah it's not launch control its just something weird the car does, it doesn't concern me much really cos it drives fine and I'm not one to sit revving the nuts off my car for no good reason,, usually | |
