Subject: oil in my intercooler Tue 22 Oct - 21:08
Hi all ,just changed my standard 2000 uk ic for a wrx one and when I took the old one off there was oil in the ic and quite a bit in the Y pipe anyone have any idea why , cheers

I read somit about that oggy I said it was a normal thing over time it said every few years take it off and clean it out as it cloggs up how true it is tho

There will be a film of oil in the I/C. It should not be swimming it oil though.

I wouldn't be too worried over it then, probably just been collected over the cars life time. Maybe check it in 3 months time and see how much is there...
