pro sport guages

I'm fitting guages to my classic and the current set up consists of a sandwich plate to house the sensors....am i right in thinking to do away with the sandwich plate and fit a remote oil sensor setup??...seems a few people have problems with oil leaks when the sandwich plate is retained..can anybody point me in the direction of what is required.....thanks in advance

Mate don't fit one what a fook on and if they leak and the pressure goes game over ... I got a remote sensor of eBay fr next to nothing only safe way to go pal

I have a sandwhich plate on mine and to be honest its been fine for me.

I fitted a sandwich plate to my classic then could get the sender to fit now on my bug I have prosport gauges but use the remote sender much better just make sure the treads are sealed tight cos mine is leaking so more tape is going on

Haha just as i thought....it ain;t a yes and it ain't a no...its already fitted to the engine i have but the previous owner managed to snap the oil pressure sensor while doing a filter change and i was thinking of putting a remote kit in and plumbing an oil cooler..its pissing oil anyway.. ...what do you guys reckon:?:
