| You had yours forged as well Jonny? If so, why, did it go pop or were you simply "future proofing" it? Touching wood (no, not that wood, ) me hawk seems to be running ok, pretty sure if it went pop, or the dreaded hg issue, I'd probably get mine forged as well. Good figures though. No wonder you're pleased. | |

| Yeah forged mate, no issues with the engine, ring lands were intact when the pistons came out but I wanted to run one of my 20GBillet turbos and knew the pistons wouldn't last 5 mins with this fitted, also had the ARP head stud and nut kit fitted with multi layer steel head gaskets to prevent future head gaskets failure. Also fitted the 2.0 sump and pick up pipe to prevent the cracking issue the 2.5 oil pick up pipe can suffer from. | |
