Thanks Andy for the cracking job you did on my engine build, really happy with all the work carried out and thanks to bob for the mapping, the car is a flying machine now, even on the low map setting compared to how it was, great job guys.

You had yours forged as well Jonny? If so, why, did it go pop or were you simply "future proofing" it? Touching wood (no, not that wood, rendeer  ) me hawk seems to be running ok, pretty sure if it went pop, or the dreaded hg issue, I'd probably get mine forged as well.

Good figures though. No wonder you're pleased.

Yeah forged mate, no issues with the engine, ring lands were intact when the pistons came out but I wanted to run one of my 20GBillet turbos and knew the pistons wouldn't last 5 mins with this fitted, also had the ARP head stud and nut kit fitted with multi layer steel head gaskets to prevent future head gaskets failure.
Also fitted the 2.0 sump and pick up pipe to prevent the cracking issue the 2.5 oil pick up pipe can suffer from.

Aye, makes sense to do the other "little" jobs when you've got the opportunity. Especially for piece of mind.
Good job done all round.
