any ideas ?

My engine management light flashed six times and then went out and stayed out, it has done this once before, the car seems to be driving fine, I wasn`t even hammering it when it did this, driving normally about 60-65 mph. Anyone have an idea what the reason for this could be. Bugeye wrx.

has the car had remap ? could be knock light , not 100 percent but sure some mod use engine light as knock light and flash when det is detected , sure johny will be along soon if am wrong ,
if it is could be dodgy batch of fuel or plugs requiring changing

i can check the fault code for you but its quite possible you have a misfire, which can cause the cel light to flash usually when under load

What would be most likely to cause that ? just the plugs or one of the coil packs ? or ?

so its picking up knock or det just like i said !

if the plugs haven t been done for a while could be lucky and just change them cheep fix

plugs are easy enough i can do them for u if u want, get them from asp not ebay, or i can pick a set up when i am up north
