| Received this today Ebay bargain at 50 pound,! The lad ordered one and two came, I am not going to bother fitting it, as the car is going into Andy K's next week so i will let him have the pleasure! Welding looks tidy, worth a chance at 50 pound we will see what it performs like when the car gets mapped! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Mixed day today Locky phoned me to tell me one of my wheels has a crack they found after stripping the black paint off, so a little more cash to weld it and also more time needed to get them sorted. But also today this turned up, I am not a fan of cleaning around the engine bay so i thought this will hide a lot of the muck! Also a bargain of SNET for 40 pound delivered [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Fitting was fairly straight forward although the bag of bolts that came with it where shite! So into the magical tub i went and found something suitable ( everybodys got one of these tubs im sure) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Then i fitted the two aluminium brackets to existing holes, one on the boost solenoid, two using the original belt covers mounting points and one eermm im not sure what it is. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The actual cover bolted down to the brackets simply with the supplied 4 allen bolts. Job done! | Today i'm of to pick up my wheels from Locky at (Hydrotec custom coatings)! Rota P1's First a full refurb and a shadow chrome base, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Second the carbon dip, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Then the clear coat and tyres refitted! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Over the moon with them will get some pics up when fitted! Locky prefers the matte/satin look but i wanted a high gloss as i think they will look cleaner for longer, and will also go better with the mods planned for the future! | |

| Busy week last week, engine is rebuilt with forged pistons, decat downpipe fitted and headers ported all thanks to Andy Kindon. Picked the car up Wednesday evening, Thursday i braved the cold and wet and fitted my tein springs and freshly dipped wheels. Now the running in can commence. I was going to do a how to on fitting these lowering springs but tbh if i had to do it again i would hand it to a garage, it was a pain in the arse! it took all day, some finger skin and afterwards half a bottle of radox to loosen my muscles up Before [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]New spring/old spring [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]First one done! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]All done! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
